Hey there!

I am a UX Leader and in my current role heading design for the company (800+ employees) as the Director of UX. My design journey began with my design education. I did my Masters in Human-Computer Interaction from School of CS at Carnegie Mellon University and Bachelors in Design from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.

My Design philosophy is to make interfaces and interactions simple and intuitive. As I manage people, I focus on mentoring them through design problems and enabling them to innovate. As I manage multiple projects, I focus on evaluating priorities, deliverables, and design time required.

My skill sets are in the field of design, computer science, and psychology and I have worked on various interesting projects that require the application of all three. I have a good combination of creativity, innovation skills and technical knowledge and thus can efficiently work on a project starting from its research and ideation phase to the prototyping and testing phase. 

My current responsibilities and experience includes:

1. Leading the vision to deliver stellar user experience in these product areas for consumer and enterprise users:
- design systems, light/dark theme
- video collaboration and chat
- virtual events and digital engagement journey
- immersive and engaging media experience
- presenter experience for engaging with live audience
- analytics reports and data visualizations

2. Managing the design team:
- identifying growth areas and hiring the right talent
- mentoring and nurturing members into design leaders
- conducting design reviews with stakeholders
- facilitating cross-team collaboration

3. Delivering new products and redesigns:
- ensuring success by application of design methods, user research and iterative design
- tracking product metrics
